Our Vision.

The church is the body of Christ, and is His representation in this world. We want to be the kind of community that strives to show Christ’s love, compassion, grace, and mercy to all.

Our message is Christ and Him crucified. Only Him, nothing and no one else is greater. True life, love, and fullfillment comes only from Him. We want to be faithful to the task of proclaiming this good news to anyone who will listen: There is hope and his name is Jesus!

The Word of God
The Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God, inerrant in the original manuscripts. It is the final authority for all doctrinal truths.

(Prov. 30:5; Rom. 16:25,26; 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20,21)
The Trinity
There is only one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These are co-equal and co-eternal.

(Gen. 1:26; Isa. 9:6; Matt. 3:16,17; 28:19; Luke 1:35; Heb. 3:7-11; 1 John 5:7)
God the Father
We believe in God the Father, who is Spirit perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He created all things through Jesus Christ, and through love gave His only begotten Son, so that the world may be saved by believing in Him. We believe that God the Father is personal and involves Himself in the affairs of humanity.

God the Son
We believe in Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, the only Son of God, begotten of the Father. He was fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atonement on the cross, his bodily resurrection on the third day according to the Scriptures, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and soon return in power and glory. He is the only way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him.

God the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who came from the Father and Son to convict the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgement. He regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers all who believe in Jesus, guiding the church into all truth. We believe that a believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit at salvation but is also empowered for ministry through a subsequent baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe in the present ministry and exercise of all the biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Humanity
We believe that humanity was created perfect, but through choice has fallen. Therefore, all are sinners by nature and choice and are under condemnation. Humanity’s only hope for redemption is Jesus Christ.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, his death, and resurrection. We believe that repentance is the way one turns to God. Repentance is a change of thinking, recognizing a former life of sin and turning away from it.

The Church
We believe in one universal Church, which is one living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all believers are the members. We believe in two ordinances given to the church: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe in baptism by full immersion in water, which symbolizes the burial of the old nature of man and his resurrection to new life. We believe the Lord’s Supper symbolizes the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Future Hope
We believe in the physical and visible return of Jesus Christ to earth to establish His Kingdom. We believe both the saved and lost will be resurrected. Those who believe to the resurrection of life, and those who are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation.
